Religious worker visas are grossly abused. I know it for a fact. Anyone who wishes to get around U.S. visa regulation can claim religious worker status. Voila. It has been like this for a long time. Zoe Lofgren still doesn't get it--or doesn't want to! </content>

Janice: I'm not trying to say that people haven't abused this visa category before, but why don't you at least cite an example or be more specific. I could just as easily say that I know it for fact that you're an idiot, but what good does that do? I'm with the last guy - there's no reason to throw the baby out with the bath water.

This thing needs to be made law already. As of today, even if you had a pending application based on the non-minister category, you cannot adjust. This goes for derivative children of folks who might already have been granted status. Think about it: that is not fair! Kids are being separated from their parents because USCIS couldn't get their act together in time. </content>

To allow those who abuse the system to cause the elimination of a legitimate church worker's visa is unfair. Tighten the accreditation process. Do not throw the "baby out with the bath water!" </content>

The Senate has passed the bill two weeks ago and now it needs only the President of United State approval. </content>
