I mostly agree with your post, but there are alot of people/sheeple still lounging on the couch, mesmerizied by their television sets, cramming doritos into their mouths while having their brains further numbed by the drivel they are being fed.

This bill seems to be another attempt to raise money to fill the pockets of the Treasury and gain more control over the people and Small farmers of America (with the guise of protecting the people).

Lets rename HR875 by adding cosmetics and hope the public doesn't catch on!!!! Don't let these guys slip this under the radar.

Substantial fees will put small farmers out of business and create a monopoly for large corporations. I object to being force fed by Monsanto and the like.

Write your representatives and urge them to oppose this bill, that is of course unless you want to be force fed by large corporations.

This video explains it all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGZL6q-3LOw

This is yet another bill being pushed through that is about control of our food supply not food safety. Until the corporate influence of the Argo industry is removed from all these bills none should be passed. These bills are about promoting industrial farming and destroying small farms and ranches as well as local and organic farming. They are about controlling the people by controlling our food supply. They are full of unconstitutional actions and infringements on our basic freedoms.

The more I read comments at opencongress the more I realize that it may not be true what's being said about Americans - that they have become apathetic and care more about reality tv and dance shows than their country. Finding opencongress was the best thing that's happened so far this year! Reading the comments of active Americans tending to their beautiful country and its precious Constitution is #1 actually - then finding opencongress but .. hmm, had to find opencongress to see the comments. <g> Oh well, point made.
