Tier 5 is absolutely needed by ALL Unemployed. Stop the games on the deadlines when there are only a few this Bill will help. Remove the deadlines and incorporate new TIERS 5, 6 for at least one year for American Unemployed who are suffering. Your ODJFS need to be contacted on their practices of stopping the unemployed not to be able to file claims this is wrong it will not provide true unemployemnt rate numbers in this country. Do something right for a change you know there is job issue in this country if 99 weeeks can not find work and the 26, 43 weeks can not find work why are you penalizing the unemployed who completely exhausted thier claims . Get a Tier 5 , 6 BILL.

the bottom line is this... the economy is a disaster, this administration is a disaster.. and anyone who continues voting democrats into office after this is also a disaster..

the only way to fix it is to get rid of Pelosi, Reid and Soetoro and get some fresh blood in there...

every democrat that wins re-election in November will vote for Pelosi and Reid to maintain control. Sorry, but that's how it goes... In order to get rid of those two tyrants, then every Democrat (good and bad) must go...

sucks, but its reality folks...

And of coarse, George Bush and the Republicans did better? Seriously? What are you, Tea Party or something. For your information it is the Democrats that are trying to do something to fix the economic chrisis that the republicans put us in, as they allways do when they are in the White House, Does anyone remember the reasons the Great Depression happened? And no, I don't like everything the Dems are doing, and in fact disagree with many of the things they are pushing, but the facts are that they are still much better than the Republicans.

Unemployed screwed again, Gov of WV is not going to appoint someone he is in favor of a special election in Nov. 2010 where he might run. He asked the AG of WV to confirm the law of sucession but did not give them a deadline to get back to him, he hopes by next week, then he will decide either to appoint or have a special election. This will go on until Nov. I am beginning to think that is the stall tactic for the Dem. The Rep. must be laughing their heads off. Don't you think Reid in his position should have know this could happen, as WV wanted to do this earlier last year.

I am getting concerned about this now. Just read about WV possibly holding a special election in November for Byrd's Senate seat. Even if not, its not looking possible for an appointment by the 12th like we all are hoping. What now? Either another Republican has go join forces, or Dem Ben Nelson will come to his senses. This is so stressful.

I'm sure you're right too BECAUSE we are screaming!

Even so, we need to write our senators, especially if they're a Republican! I'm disgusted and offended that the majority of House Republicans voted against this bill. My husband is not just giving up when and if his unemployment benefits run out (another 3 wks!). If there's a job, he applies! He's been in construction for over 30 years and has always done whatever it takes, usually relocating, to stay working and support our family! There aren't any jobs--that's the problem. Not even overseas!

It is so sad how they just cut us off. We wouldn't be on unemployment if we really didn't need it. The job market isn't that great right now and if I didn't have money saved up, I wouldn't know how I was going to pay my bills. They need to pass this bill for all of the Americans that are unemployed right now.
