It is not my fault that the poor and disadvantaged failed at keeping their end of a mortgage agreement because of whatever terrible circumstance....I don't owe them a house. And as far as I know the starvation issue has been remedied already by other tax-payer funded government programs along with private charities. The truly destitute starving people are eligible for everything from tax-payer funded housing vouchers and education to tax-payer funded cell phones.
