Here is a must-read article on the NDAA:

I hope that those nasty unconstitutional provisions in this bill are challenged in court and removed ASAP. </content>

There&#8217;s still a chance to fix this!

Help eliminate indefinite detention and restore due process by contacting your representatives and urge them to support bill H.R.3676.

H.R.3676 is a one page bill that in clear, unambiguous language amends the detainee provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 to specifically state that United States citizens may not be detained against their will without all the rights of due process afforded to citizens in a court ordained or established by or under Article III of the Constitution of the United States.

As our founding father Ben Franklin said &quot;Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.&quot; We are citizens and have the right to due process. It's an embarrassment that there isn't more of an uproar. </content>

Yes it most certainly does have Indefinite Detention in the bill. Read Sections 1021 and 1022. To view an excellent legal analysis of the bill go to this link. http://krisannehall.com/index.php/blog/110-ndaa-legal-analysis-video

But this bill is a large bill to read through and study. Luckily there are people out there that actually read the bills, unlike the Congress who do not read bills that they vote on.

Have you read what is in Section 1021 of this bill? Here, I'll quote it for you: &quot;A person who was part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostillities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerant act or has directly supported such hostillities in aid of such enemy forces.&quot; Now, they can redefine the wording in that section, like &quot;any person who has committed a belligerant act&quot; -- what is a &quot;belligerant act&quot;? Is is persons who are against this government and belong to organizations to spread truths about this President and his agendas for America which he is hell bent on destroying? Or is it protest marchers at the White House, like the Tea Party, and other conservative groups in protest to what this President and his government actions inflict on us? That is what this &quot;Act&quot; can inflict on us Patriots can do and you are condoning this as if we should be thankful? </content>

When the press is in the pockets of the Progressives, it doesn't cover these kinds of bills. Most people have NO IDEA it was introduced, let alone passed. I didn't know it had passed until today! The bastards did it New Year's Eve! I am so disgused that I want to puke! </content>

The indefinite detention clause in this bill is an act of pure treason against our constitution in attempt to gain a tyrannical power of the people of the United States. Those who passed this bill should be charged. </content>

This is very important: The NDAA is just about to become law. We must block those indefinite detention provisions ASAP. To take action, go to this website:

Please make sure that you sign this petition. It only takes a minute. It can really make a difference. </content>
