I notice it fails to deal with the other 8000lb elephant in the room: public employee unions, who use dues extracted from members to buy politicians, with whom the unions then negotiate for pay increases and better benefits, which they use to further support politicians. The only people left out of the deal making are the poor sucker taxpayers who have no voice but pay for all of it.    </content>
