BUSH wants to bail out Wall street but the unemployed can just wait and starve! The Congress, the Senate and BUSH are criminal, despicable, naive,and in very dangerous water. To ignore the unemployed and not take care of them is so shortsighted its beyond belief. More Extended benefits need to be passed now! The seven weeks is really a joke as unemployment WILL continue to rise and rise. It needs to be a total of 52 or more as it was in the past. Wake up politician's (PUBLIC SERVANT) as your day is coming, and you be joining the unemployed and learn first hand what it can feel like to be jobless. More jobs will be lost, more Banks will fail and you can only blame yourselves for letting Bush and Cheney get away with robbing the working American public who are as dumb and naive as Sarah Palin!

How many zeros in a billion? This is too true to be funny. The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of it's releases. A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959. B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive. C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age. D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet. E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it. While this thought is still fresh in our brain... let's take a look at New Orleans .. It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division. Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D) is presently asking Congress for 250 BILLION DOLLARS to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number... what does it mean? A. Well... if you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528. B. Or... if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787. C. Or... if you are a family of four... your family gets $2,066,012. Washington, D. I have NOT been approached or solicited or asked or paid or anything....to "launch this letter". I am reminded that when Americans fail to speak out against what they perceive as bad politics and bad policies, we ALL loose. I have always been a taxpaying and voting citizen. My first vote was for John F. Kennedy. I have felt great disdain for African Americans who vigorously support the Republican Party. When the Clinton's were being attacked by Ken Star and were subjected to the dirty tactics of a smear campaign by the Republican Party, even 'tho personal misbehavior invited that, I wrote letters of support to the Clinton's and, on their behalf, to numerous politicians, media pesons and to church leaders across this nation. In my opinion, this 2008 Presidential political contest is NOT so much about race or/and gender, as it is about POWER. But it MUST also be won ethically and fairly. As it appears to me, BOTH the Clinton's are making a strong case to validate the belief that the abused, once gaining power, may become the abuser. Speaking for myself only, I am grateful that when there was a call for the bus boycott in Montgomery, AL, that NOT one African American Minister called for support of continued segregated busses. Every "chance" to support a candidate is NOT the same thing as an opportunity to promote the GOOD of the people. To express my concern about their actions, I have personally contacted certain community leaders via web addresses, who have been motivated or/ and felt obligated to step forward with unnecessary and untimely "ENDORSEMENTS" or/and divisive debasing comments.OH! What would Adam Clayton Powell think now? ~~~ PLEASE help God BLESS America~~~ It IS our responsibility to step IN here. The media, while we NEED them for information, IS also fanning the flames of a fire that has the potential to become big and dangerous. I hope to have as many people as possible call the Clinton Headquarters; numbers listed below. I have called.YOU tell them: 1. Tell any one who answers the phone that you want to see an end to the negative campaigning 2. That you are a private citizen who does NOT like the personal attacks and distortion of the record 3. That you WILL withdraw support and WILL campaign against ANY candidate who initiates and maliciously perpetrates "personal" and cheap attacks 4. I have been out of work since November 2007. My unemployment benefits have run out. My money has run out. I unable to obtain employment and need more time to continue my search for employment. I am at risk of losing my car. Gas prices continue to rise daily. I am highly skilled in my field. My State Rhode Island is one of the hardest hit with unemployment. I am 53 old and have worked hard all my life. I've paid taxes all my life, and this is how my country is treating me. Unbelievable. The Senate, House and President continue to play games as peoples life's are put in jeopardy. Totally disgusting. So all the extra time that I am not spending on looking for employment, I will dedicate to making sure any politician that votes nay on not extending unemployment insurance will be out of a job their next term by informing the public of their decision in every forum available. I will encourage others to do so as well. It is time in this country for the people to take control of their government again and take it out of the hands of the uninformed, out of touch, uncompassionate, ignorant, greedy, self absorbed fools that are the true terrorists ruining this country. Pass a fxxkxxg bill extending unemployment benefits or you will be out of a fxxkxxg job!!!!!!!!!

I don't owe you money for not working. I'm very sorry that you can't find a job in your field, but you need to realize that unemployment money is charity not an entitlement. I feel that people who expect me to work so that they can be picky about taking a job (at least you could get a job in fast food--I've had to do so before) are the ones who are uninformed, out of touch, selfish, ignorant, greedy, and self-absorbed. Maybe you have to sell your house. I have worked all my life too and I have never been able to afford a house. Why should I pay your mortgage? You need to remember that when you are talking about taking money, "The government" is just the same as "your neighbors." How is it that we owe you more unemployment? If there weren't so many people taking charity from the government, you would have been able to save more money and you would not have run out, because the government wouldn't have taken so much. If you are successful and people who support allowing wage-earners to keep their own money are put out of a job, they at least will find new jobs. If you asked for sympathy, I'd readily give it to you. If you asked me for compassion, I would probably give that too, if I knew more of the circumstances. If you asked for charity, I might even send you a check. But if you want me to send that check by way of the government, and then you want to tell me that you have an absolute right to that check and I owe you that check because you used to work, well, I'd rather not. Where's the thanks for your neighbors having given you money for six months already?
