I hope that in the coming election we find someone that can hear what your constituents are saying. I have communicated to you a major problem with the Health Care bill, but received only party-line rhetoric in response. I truly believe that you have had the seat for too long, and it is time for Change! </content>

Dear Senator Mikulski,
S.3520 needs to be passed immediately. There are 15 million Americans who are &quot;unemployed through no fault of their own,&quot; and who are also frantically attempting to find new jobs that do not exist. The majority of these 15 million have a family dependent upon their income, so that increases the number to possibly 30 or even 45 million Americans who are in imminent danger of losing everything. When this happens, the financial and moral ramifications for this country will be dire indeed. I'll say it again-- S.3520 needs to be passed immediately! Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I've listened to both sides!!! The fiscal responsibility does not compute!

You LIE. 2014 is what your betting on, but not from the people and the same damn cue card is being used by each and every one of you. A very old trick. If you say it often enough you hope that people will get to believe it.

I lost my job a yr ago. I went back to school to change careers to healthcare. I graduated among the top of my class. I still haven't found a job. I am either overqualified (for McDonalds, Wendy's WalMart etc) or don't have the &quot;required&quot; minimum 2 years experience each employer is looking for in their available jobs. Since there are so many unemployed people they can afford to be very picky. I am 63, and never thought at this point in my life I would be jobless, and nearly homeless, that will happen in about 6 weeks without this extension. I have worked for nearly 50yrs, this is my 1st time in this position. It is very embarassing, demeaning, and stressful to watch everything you worked your whole life for be gone. Since you have all the answers, do you have a job for me? I don't mind cleaning toilets, washing windows, or whatever to keep my dignity. </content>

Dear Senator,
I need the extention for unemployment be passed quickly. I have worked for more than 45 years. This is the 1st time I have been forced into unemployment. My office closed due to the economy. I went back to school to change careers and go into healthcare. I graduated among the top of my class but can't find employment. I email, fax, and mail 4-7 resumes daily. Because of the greedy on Wall Street and my lack of knowledge I have lost all of my retirement savings. If this bill isn't passed quickly, I will be 63 yr old homeless grandmother. My savings has been depleted in the past yr to pay my education, housing and monthly bills. I drive an 11 yr old car and live week to week. I don't understand how the Congress of the United States can turn its back on the very people it has sworn to serve. Then I saw this:
Mrs Clinton announced aid worth $7.5bn for Pakistan at the start of talks in Islamabad. She said the US wanted to show it cared about ordinary Pakistanis. </content>

Dear Fellow Americans:

&gt;NOTE&lt; IF you agree with this effort, forward this email. BUT if you do NOT agree, just smile and delete.

 This is NO attempt to influence your vote and NO.... I have NOT been approached or solicited or asked or paid or anything....to &quot;launch this letter&quot;. I am reminded that when Americans fail to speak out against what they perceive as bad politics and bad policies, we ALL loose.

I have always been a taxpaying and voting citizen. My first vote was for John F. Kennedy. I have felt great disdain for African Americans who vigorously support the Republican Party. When the Clinton's were being attacked by Ken Star and were subjected to the dirty tactics of a smear campaign by the Republican Party, even 'tho personal misbehavior invited that, I wrote letters of support to the Clinton's and, on their behalf, to numerous politicians, media pesons and to church leaders across this nation.

In my opinion, this 2008 Presidential political contest is NOT so much about race or/and gender, as it is about POWER. But it MUST also be won ethically and fairly. As it appears to me, BOTH the Clinton's are making a strong case to validate the belief that the abused, once gaining power, may become the abuser.

Speaking for myself only, I am grateful that when there was a call for the bus boycott in Montgomery, AL, that NOT one African American Minister called for support of continued segregated busses. Every &quot;chance&quot; to support a candidate is NOT the same thing as an opportunity to promote the GOOD of the people. To express my concern about their actions, I have personally contacted certain community leaders via web addresses, who have been motivated or/ and felt obligated to step forward with unnecessary and untimely &quot;ENDORSEMENTS&quot; or/and divisive debasing comments.OH! What would Adam Clayton Powell think now?

~~~ PLEASE help God BLESS America~~~  It IS our responsibility to step IN here. The media, while we NEED them for information, IS also fanning the flames of a fire that has the potential to become big and dangerous.
I hope to have as many people as possible call the Clinton Headquarters; numbers listed below. I have called.YOU tell them:
1. Tell any one who answers the phone that you want to see an end to the negative campaigning
2. That you are a private citizen who does NOT like the personal attacks and distortion of the record
3. That you WILL withdraw support and WILL campaign against ANY candidate who initiates and maliciously  perpetrates &quot;personal&quot; and cheap attacks
4. That we Americans want POSITIVE campaigning on THE ISSUES from a leader who seeks to unify, NOT just win  .............OR....... say whatever YOU choose, but DO call to say something that may help foster a more civil campaign
I have sent this email to HUNRDEDS OF PEOPLE on hundreds of sites including Nat'l Democratic Party, THE CLINTON'S.....library etc et al, COLLEGES, URBAN LEAGUE, NAACP...... talk radio hosts, popular news media......... and HUNDREDS of other people have sent it out also. Pass on AND make YOUR calls NOW.
IF people started calling me THE Queen of England, I would likely wonder why, but in NO case would I believe myself to be unequivocally entitled to the socio-political advantages of that office. Maybe someone should tell Bill. He was &quot;NICKNAMED&quot; the first Black President. He wasn't REALLY him.
Thanks, Janet
