While acting as presiding president @ 0117 am, Mr. Frankin was heard laughing after an
Amendment vote was closed with a 40 aye to 55 nay vote.

What a disgraceful act of nonprofessionalism.

Minnesota has finest state election systems, election judges from repub &amp; democratic parties correctly called Senator Franken the rightful winner. Minnesota population highly educated, top of the list of education quality. Senator Franken top-notch! Excellent legislation women's right to seek justice in court for contractor rape. (30 repubs voted no.)Great questioning skills in congressional hearings.
He was instrumental in providing head protection equipment when soldiers sent to Iraq with inadequate head gear. He has great heart, and I don't need to write to tell him how to vote, because he knows what is right to do for the people. He's not bought by corps, banksters.
Read about ACORN http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/12/acorn_report_finds_no_illegal_conduct.php
Lawyer gate with Rove/Bush: lawyers fired for not prosecuting ACORN. They didn't prosecute because there was no evidence of wrongdoing. Repubs want ACORN shut down because they don't want poor to vote.

Al Franken, a US Senator? He's a phony in a stolen election in a backward state of entreched donkey's. The credentials necessary to become a powerful leader in America have reached new lows in 2009. A sad testimony to what was once a proud nation that had confidence in it's leaders. </content>

The College Debt Swap Act needs to get passed. These students are drowning in debt. With the College Debt Swap Act, we would get the same benefits as the Federal Student Loans have. We are not asking for a bailout. We want to repay our loans, but need a better structure in repayment that is allowed for the federal loans. This will allow these people to regain their buying power. We want to buy a home, raise a family and start new businesses, but with large debt due to the unforgiving interest rates and other fees these private lenders are allowed to saddle us with, we will never have our buying power. So how will the economy ever be strong with the majority of young, educated people at the mercy of these lenders? Please hear our pleas. </content>

The party in power (i.e. US) has apparently sponsored legislation with which this Senator agrees. Just because you appear NOT to agree with that legislation does not mean Sen.Franken should vote against his, and his constituants' views on the subject(s) in the legislation. Thinker? Yes, he just happens to not think the way you apparently do. Get over it. </content>
