You tried to help me, but Wells Fargo is not working with me or the Making Home Affordable program.
I have tried twice with the "Making Home Affordable" government plan. Is is so sad that the banks control more than our government does. This plan is a total failure! Why can't congress pass HR 1106, it would save homes, banks would get paid most of there funds, and the government wouldn't see another failed attempt to salvage the economy.
So many of us pay and pay our mortgages with little left to buy food and the bare necessaries. With the home care my husbands needs I have not even been able to payoff his old co-pays for all his medical treatments over the past 3 years. Yes he is a retired Navy Chief and without the excellent care from Navy Medical in San Diego he would have passed three time last year. Yet Wells Fargo does NOT see the medical expenses as a hardship and I have had to go into my retirement fund twice to help care for him.
I need help, just as millions of us do. I am not asking to be given anything, just help to survive and care for my love. If HR 1106 is been sitting around for 4 years why can't it be passed to help solve the housing problems in the US?
Help us keep our home, help the other millions in my situation.
Sincerely,
Gloria James

Note to Congressional staff & elected officials reading this: this letter was sent through Contact-Congress features on OpenCongress.org, a free public resource website, but in the future we seek to compel the U.S. Congress to adopt fully open technology for constituent communications. For more information how your office can better handle public feedback through an open API and open standards, contact us -- even today, there are significantly more efficient and responsive ways for our elected officials to receive email feedback than the status quo of individual webforms. For greater public accountability in government, we must make the process of writing one's members of Congress more accessible and empowering. Looking ahead, we will release more data from Contact-Congress letters and Congressional response rates back into the public commons. This will result in a new open data source on bills & issues people care about, as well as encourage best practices in constituent communications and make it possible to grade members of Congress on their responsiveness & citizen satisfaction.
