S.1025 Volunteer Firefighter and EMS Personnel Job Protection Act
I am writing as your constituent in the 20th Congressional district of New York. I am writing as your constituent in the 20th Congressional district of New York. I support S.1025 - Volunteer Firefighter and EMS Personnel Job Protection Act, and am tracking it using OpenCongress.org, the free public resource website for government transparency and accountability. As a current Assistant Chief with West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Department and Past Warren County Supervisor it is very difficult to retain volunteers due to requirements of NFPA and OSHA training. Our daytime response is very limited. This law would give our firefighters the ability to respond to assist in the saving of lives and homes of our residents. Please sign on to Co-Sponsor this Bill.
