This is Violation of our founding father's specific notes on free speach etc... in Constitution and Bill of Rights. The internet and websites that allow people to share any idea, information or trade is the modern equivelant of the old town pub of the 1700's where our founding father's got together shared info, ideas, did trades etc...
Having been born & lived overseas in countries taken over by communist and /or despotic governments the first step in getting control was to censor and close facilities that allowed people to FREELY exchange ANY info, idea etc... Where I lived that was the first step the next was that all "non approved" radio broadcast {even just music} were jammed and I only could get one station which broadcast 4 hours each French and local African Dialect translations of Radio Peking and Radio Moscow.
Do not take that first step to destroying the US constitution and allowing the establishment of a despotic government.
Sincerely,
Clyde Plunkett
been received and I welcome the opportunity to address your concerns.
Hearing directly from constituents such as yourself is truly an honor,
and your input is much appreciated.
Please look for my response in the near future. In an effort to serve
you better, please do not duplicate e-mails into the web-form, as it
may serve to delay the response to your concerns. If you need immediate
assistance with a federal agency, please call (866) 630-7106, toll-free
in Florida. Please do not mail materials that require immediate
attention to the Washington DC Office. Due to security screenings,
postal mail can take up to four weeks to be delivered and will delay
our response to your request.
Sincerely,
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio
Note to Congressional staff & elected officials reading this: this letter was sent through Contact-Congress features on OpenCongress.org, a free public resource website, but in the future we seek to compel the U.S. Congress to adopt fully open technology for constituent communications. For more information how your office can better handle public feedback through an open API and open standards, contact us -- even today, there are significantly more efficient and responsive ways for our elected officials to receive email feedback than the status quo of individual webforms. For greater public accountability in government, we must make the process of writing one's members of Congress more accessible and empowering. Looking ahead, we will release more data from Contact-Congress letters and Congressional response rates back into the public commons. This will result in a new open data source on bills & issues people care about, as well as encourage best practices in constituent communications and make it possible to grade members of Congress on their responsiveness & citizen satisfaction.
