    • On March 09, 2009, by Mrs_B - Go Dr. Paul! This is a beautiful bill! May there be many more like it! Can you imagine Taxpayers' Freedom of Conscience Acts 2,3,4, etc.: "To prohibit any Federal official from expending any Federal funds for (fill in the blank)!" What a concept. Ia anyone else alarmed that these people sit around all day drafting LAWS that continually take away our freedoms, our money, our private lands, our natural resources, etc. and put them into the hands of groups that are above the Law: corporations, international bankers, tax evaders, eugenicists, and other elitist control freaks?

    • On March 21, 2009, by Kaz - Just the words Population Control gives me the creeps...what government has the right to such control? Should it be like China and limit the number of children? Forced abortions? Good for you Ron Paul. You said you were pro-life and your actions proove it. Thank you.

    • On June 18, 2009, by Mrs_B - The entire world population would fit in Texas, with every family having enough room for a detached house on a standard city lot! Here's the math: Texas covers 268,601 sq.mi. but only 261,797 sq.mi. is land, the rest is water so let's use the smaller number. That converts to 7298481484800 sq.ft. World population is 6.7 billion so let's round up to 7 billion for good measure. Divide sq.ft. by population and you get 1042.6 sq.ft. per person. A family of 4 then gets 4170.57 sq.ft., about the size of a 40x100 city lot with a detached house. A family of 6 would get 6255.6 sq.ft. and so on. The population density of Texas would be 26,738 people per sq. mile, about the present density of New York City and far less than the 40 most densely-populated cities. Compare this to: Bangladesh---2,750 people per sq. mi. Monaco---43,780 Paris---53,807 Cairo---81,823 Seoul---44,587 New York---27,264 And remember: The population density of the REST OF THE WORLD? ZERO.
