    • On April 17, 2010, by pramsey - I understand the problem of pre-existing conditions, but think about this logically. Health care insurance is a gamble. The policy holder purchases insurance in the hope that he/she will never need it. It’s a gamble, NOT a club membership. If a person is diagnosed with a terrible, debilitating disease, that is very unfortunate, but if that person did not have health care insurance before the diagnosis, they shouldn’t expect to get insurance covering that condition after the fact. That’s like expecting to win a poker game without ever paying in to the pot!
