    • On October 13, 2009, by phans4u - Aug. 17 (Bloomberg--encapsulated) Barack Obama said he'll veto defense spending legislation if Congress includes funding for purchases such as the presidential helicopters from Lockheed Martin he said aren't needed. Every dollar wasted...is a dollar we cant spend to care for our troops; protect America or prepare for the future, Obama told a VFW convention If a project doesnt support our troops, if it does not make America safer...if Congress sends me a defense bill loaded with pork, I WILL VETO IT.

    • On October 19, 2009, by Spaceshot69 - Obama will pass this or he'll be looking for a van to do his speaches with next term as he'll be a former president on the talk circuit. The repeal of NSPS alone is a savings of jobs and subject matter experts that the Government was suposed to look for a way to keep as aposed to what NSPS did. He'll sign this also because it has enough votes to pass it without him.
