    • On July 20, 2009, by andoerin - Boo FERC!! Since and their stupid CIP standards! The budget at my utility for security to meet their stupid standards has tripled and most of the security personel have worthless degrees (many in interior design) I can tell you one thing the nation's energy grid is just as secure as it was in 2000, not a smidgen more. However about 3 times the cost is going into security standards that don't make much a difference.
