Politician's attempts to remove our ability to protect ourselves continues again. When not able to do it by direct means, they try to implement their policies by using administrative procedures. They incorrectly believe that Americans are not intelligent enough to identify these attempts for what they are. Bobby Rush, (D- ILL), introduced HR5820 to remove the exemption that blocked the EPA from banning ammunition under the Lead toxic substances ban.
If it looks like a skunk and smells like a skunk... It is a skunk.

In April, Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) introduced The Safe Chemicals Act, a bill that if passed would make sweeping changes to the 34-year old Toxic Substance Control Act. While the old law allowed chemicals to enter the market with little or no testing, the new one would force manufacturers to prove a chemical's safety before introducing it to the market.
