Whereas former Director of National Drug Control Policy John P. Walters declared in 2007: ‘America’s public lands are under attack. Instead of being appreciated as national treasures, they are being exploited and destroyed by foreign drug trafficking organizations and heavily armed Mexican marijuana cartels who have turned them into ground zero for drug cultivation. These violent drug traffickers are endangering America’s outdoor enthusiasts and sportsmen, and the sensitive ecosystems of our wilderness.’;

The war on drugs is a fraud and a failure and cannabis is healthy.

It is time to end this silly prohibition. A time is coming when everyone will reject the lies and propaganda and a shameful era of American history will thankfully fade into the past.

This does not solve the "problem"... as long as there is a demand, then there will be a supply, and the governments efforts are futile and a plain waste of tax payer dollars.... legalize it, regulate it, control it... this plant is just too beneficial to humans, for it to be illegal to grow and use is the true crime...
I wish my major was chem/biochem so I may be able to genetically modify soy and corn to have the CBD/THC genes and then randomly sow the seed everywhere until it mixes with the general population.... hey maybe I could get the patent on it and sue everyone that happens to have it growing on their field and make a ton of cash... monsanto did it!
