It is time for the people of Africa to become apart of the world in a way that shows the beauty of this nation. It may not address all the issues facing Africa, but it's a start.

• On June 24, 2009, by FerreThoughts - This bill has been long sought after by the people who want to end the terror of Joseph Kony. On June 23 over 2000 people from around the country (and at least one kid from Australia) traveled to DC to lobby their senators and congressmen. This was the largest lobbying initiative carried out for an African issue in the history of the United States. I hope that you will take the time to write a short email to your senators asking them to cosponsor this bill. It really will make a difference. If S1067 is made law, and President Obama carries it through properly, literally millions of lives (including the lives of thousands of children) will be positively affected. Joseph Kony's war has lasted over 23 years, and this bill is How It Ends.
