    • On September 23, 2009, by LDishman - Outrageous. If they want to help the middle class by providing tax relief they should consider Fair Tax. To offer fairness they should take a step back from the programs and allow us the FREEDOM to create and either succeed or fail with our own American Dreams. I agree with Hank also, workers should be afforded the choice of opting out of a Union without adverse consequences.

    • On July 12, 2009, by EGRSBaker - This is ludicrous. It is NOT the responsibility of the government to improve the lot of middle class America. I am pretty sure this legislation falls in line with the monumentally inaccurate concept that everyone is a winner. No. America became great because there was sincere competition and everyone worked to get ahead. Bear in mind that with this mindset, ours is the first generation of Americans that cannot offer a better lot for the next generation.
