    • On June 08, 2009, by Waiting2Trade - Its ok to give billions to bailout various banks, insurance companies, car companies, etc. but to help out Mom and Dad to buy a new car the claws come out. Surely we can use some of the stimulus money to help out American family's and the car manufacturing industry's. I know car sales are stagnant right now and this bill will kick star the economy.

    • On January 31, 2009, by yzERp - Wait a minute -- encourage the purchase of new cars by offering vouchers, but you /only/ get the voucher if you promise to destroy the old car? So that means the people who can't afford new cars will have fewer used (and therefore cheaper) cars to choose from. How about slash spending and abolish the income tax instead?
