• On December 02, 2010, by tigntink - I'm pretty sure if the private sector could make a profit off of abusing women and children then it would. Oh wait - the private sector did back when we had child labor and women living in locked work houses. The voluntary sector isn't big enough. I would know. Even in America there isn't enough resources to take care of all battered women.
