    • On July 20, 2009, by loarmistead - http://www.handgunlaw.us/ That website has the current reciprocity map. For most of the country your grandpa is safe to carry his concealed weapon along with his permit. The places concealed carriers have to look out for are the typical leftist bastions. http://www.ccrkba.org/reciprocity.html This website lists which states accept other permits. As you can see, it's a tangled mess and it would save local and state governments a lot of time and money if reciprocity were national.

    • On July 20, 2009, by slevy77 - That is unfortunately not the case. Though many states do honor your Grandpa's CCW, there are many that do not. What this bill will do will make it universal throughout every state, so he does not have to worry which state he is in, to whether it is legal for him to carry concealed. Similar to the Bill that allows police officers to carry throughout every state now. Before they were unable to legally.
