    • On January 29, 2009, by mld96 - I like the electoral college as the founders saw value in it as it empowers the states more. I do wish electoral votes were divided in a state according to the states popular vote rather than winning all of the votes. Some states do this. I wish more would consider it.

    • On February 12, 2009, by UserNotLogggedIn - Quit screwing with the Constitution. It's not a "living document" to be changed to suit political advantage. I know how you calculating SOBs are. Give you an inch, you'll steal the mile. Keep your grubmits off my Constitution.

    • On February 10, 2009, by Anonymous - The EC was formed for many reasons. You only stated one. One of the most important reasons is to limit the effects of voter fraud (currently, if 100 million extra votes are casted in California, it only effects the outcome of their electoral count and doesn't dramatically skew the entire election). It also makes it harder for a charismatic leader to manipulate the population into essentially electing him for life. Most people are highly uneducated as to why the EC exists. I suggest reading the Federalist Papers if you wonder why we have it, and why we should keep it.
