This bill does nothing to remove the claimed authority to indefinitely detain foreign citizens without charges or access to attorneys. The rights granted in the Constitution are inalienable and endowed by our Creator and it is completely abhorrent to be of the opinion that non-Americans do not deserve the same respect for their God-given rights.

It's vitally important for this bill to get passed. There are detainee provisions in the NDAA that could be applied to US citizens if clear prohibitive language like this is not added.

I'm excited about this. Effectively fixes the questionable parts of the NDAA.
