    • On January 28, 2011, by Harryfeb - This is good but with conditions. You see US should always keep a check on immigration number. It should not happen that PHD student can get his green card without any annual limit. US should comeup with a number with the help from dept of labor that how many PHDs US need on annual basis? That number should constantly montored every year. This year you can have 1000 Phds and next year may be 50. My point is Australian immigration system does the same way and work very closely with their DOL. The immigration number should never be unlimited and should vary every yeqr depending on the demand of that skill in US job market. Again focus only on skilled immigration and this is good.
