    • On May 27, 2012, by libbypw - If the interest rates were not so low, perhaps students would weigh whether or not getting a degree in womans studies, social anthropology or philosophy was a good investment or not. It is an expensive mistake to tell children from 1st grade on they must have a college degree to get a job. And then we end up requiring primary level teachers to have masters in education instead of common sense or a solid, fundamental understanding of basic English, math, science and history skills which could should be obtained before graduating high school! Bring back Normal schools!
