Right wing ideologues don't realize that they depend upon federal government services every day. They insult democracy when they say that government of the people can't get things done. This is a good bill that points out how much Republican politicians profit from the government.

I love this bill except for the fact it doesn't stop the Congress or the President from receiving back pay related to the shutdown like the Senate bill does.
If the government shuts down for 1 month, approximately $58.304 BILLION dollars will not be paid out to SSA/SSI beneficiaries. Assuming the government is shut down only 1 month, and other than having to pay the benefits out at a later time, how is this different than cutting $61 billion from the House plan?

Hell yes we insult Democracy! Democracy doesn't work! And I think we, the people, can do what needs to be done if we have to, so I'm not sure which government services you're referring to that can't be done by us, or the states, if the federal government weren't there to do it for us.
