    • On April 22, 2011, by johnfbraun - Wow, you'd think that if the Ten Commandments (don't get me started on which version) were so important to the founding of this country, they'd be mentioned somewhere in the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence. At most, two of the Commandments have any relevance to our laws, namely, don't kill and don't steal. Plus, one could argue that capitalism violates the whole not coveting thing. Lastly, the irony of the resolution, in that it bears false witness (lies) when it states that the Ten Commandments had such a profound influence, may just cause it to self destruct.

    • On April 23, 2011, by WarpCrow - I would like every Congressman who supports this bill to be required to name each commandment and why it deserves to be honored by this resolution. It would be fun to watch at least. I have a feeling most couldn't even list them if you put them on the spot.
