    • On January 22, 2013, by Kickedout - Hurricanes have hit the Carolinas several times in the past years and I cannot remember any kind of an aid package being needed or offered , could it be the south is better at taking care of its own? I see no reason the people/ business / cities effected by Sandy should get special treatment. I pay for a very pricey insurance policy that covers wind and hail damage I have this because I live within 50 miles of the beach. So what is keeping all of the northern property owners from doing the same?
