These people already cost us billions and will cost taxpayer a bloody fortune more in health care and social services. It will happen eventually, when you provide the “pass”, you will have emboldened their base and if we don’t provide services to them, they will demonize us, demand it and get it…. Will they fix the 4.2 Billion in Refundable Credits illegals currently collect? Will the IRS treat citizens with the same leniencies who owe back taxes? Will the legal illegal be deported or will they be made to pay for any crime they may commit as any citizen would? Will their citizen children earn them special preference or social benefits over those in waiting line for citizenship?

The business of America should be one where there is opportunity but we all play by the rules not change the rules to accommodate those who broke them.
What happens to all the illegal immigrants who don’t want to learn English, get fingerprinted, fined and pay taxes, ultimately not coming forward and applying in the given timeframe, if there a time frame? Many don’t want to be a taxpayer; they just don’t want to be deported. Will politicians deal much more harshly with new illegals or the legal illegals that chose not to be processed? Will the feds strictly enforce our immigration laws or let them slide like they always do? What are the feds going to do in the interim when thousands more will try to get here under the wire?

Despite what they say, if this reform flies, there IS unfairness to those who are abiding our laws and waiting in line in another country. These people aren’t able to establish a home, educate their children or start up their business while waiting as those who have broken our laws and allowed to stay and set up “Life” in America as they go to the back of the line. This is extremely unfair to those waiting to come here lawfully, extremely unfair to the unemployed and the extremely unfair to the taxpayer.. This whole idea is fundamentally wrong and should not be a consideration. Most all of us are from immigrants that is true, but the majority of our parents entered and were processed through Ellis, Angel Island and such and they had it very hard. Not like today where they just walk in, park it and demand unearned rights! America is making a big mistake if our leaders aren’t harsh enough dealing with this merry-go-round.
