    • On January 31, 2014, by fcarlin - I am reaching out to you to vote yes on the bill to delay the implementation of the Biggert-Waters Reform Act and to talk to those in the House who feel that this bill should not pass. Many of us will not be able to pay the insurance increase or will be forced to self-insure our homes. My insurance went from $1200 to $8500 and I have read and heard from other people who's preminum went up just as much or more. Even a 4 year delay may help us better prepare for this increase. Again I ask you to help me and those that are facing this issue. Thank You for your consideration in this very important and close to our heart issue.
