    • On August 26, 2008, by Anonymous - just by the fact that there are thousands of parts to this bill proves the fact that the American military is bloated with too much funding and support. Vital federal funds are being spent on defense and war, while almost every other national issue is underfunded. Sure, having an army is important, but so is the economy, education, the environment, and many other issues that lack necessary federal funding.
