I oppose Resolution 583. It allows American to enter a sovereign nation, in which Kony no longer resides. Furthermore, it is an Orwellian idea that “War is Peace”. Military intervention usually cannot lead to peace. American should not and cannot police the world. There will always be evil in the world. Also these african countries that America will be able to invade because of this resolution, will not get aid for nothing. Thats not how the world works. You can not get something for nothing, in this case the oil reserves and many other natural resources found in Unganda are the real motivation for this resolution, not Jospeph Kony.
