Sen Fienstien needs to RESIGN over conflicts of interest. How in the hell can her husbands firm recieve money on any federal contracts. That is the definition of conflict of interest.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Dianne Feinstein offered to help secure federal funds for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. just days before the agency awarded a contract to her husband’s company in the housing foreclosure crisis.

On Oct. 30, Feinstein expressed backing for FDIC Chairwoman Sheila Bair’s proposal to stem home foreclosures through the use of federal bailout funds for the agency.

Days later, the career staff at the FDIC awarded an unrelated, competitively bid, contract to CB Richard Ellis Group, a commercial real estate services company where Feinstein’s husband, Richard Blum, is board chairman.

Blum’s firm is selling foreclosed properties that are held by the FDIC.

She votes the Democratic Party Line 95% of the time! How can you think she is “pretending to be a Democrat”? She is certainly not a Republican!

But I agree, “We need to find a better person for this important job”.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), a member of the Trilateral Commission and a leading gun control advocate in Congress, criticized the ruling regarding lifting the gun ban in DC. “I believe the people of this great country will be less safe because of it,” she said.

“He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security.” – Benjamin Franklin

Vote Feinstein out of office.

S.3325 The Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights Act of 2008

Drop your sponsorship of this bill. It is going to fail miserably. It is useless … IP is dead as it stands. Fix it at the source, don’t waste my (and the USA) money with a bandaid. Music industry needs to change their buisness model. So do the Gaming / Software / Motion Picture associations. Please stop wasting all this money and drop your sponsorship. Kill this bill before it hits…..
If not, NO ONE WILL VOTE FOR YOU.

Yeah, keep laughing bozoland. Meanwhile we’ll do what it takes to get this country back on track. All it takes is for elitist liberals like you to continue dismissing the historic change happening in this country as representing only “25-30% of the population.” That’s the best response the GOP could hope for. Besides, you Idiocrats are the ones ignoring the 800-pound gorilla in the room. Don’t you find it the least bit unsettling that your numero uno, in a little more than half a year, has managed to completely undermine the eight years of anti-GOP propagada that catipulted him to that LANDSLIDE 5% victory in the last election? Forget the fact that he was elected on a platform of racism, agism, sexism, and hatred; just ask yourself this: if the voters went to the polls again tomorrow, would he be reelected? I’m fairly confident your response would be in the affirmative, which shows how out of touch you really are. So, keep laughing at the big letters. It’s so very important, after all.

I agree, it is time for her to be voted out of office. Why do the folks in California keep voting for her. She has not represented the voters of California for a long time. California needs to do a wholesale replacement of their reps. Stand up California and be heard. This would send a shock to all reps across the country.

Feinstein is a democrat with teflon coating nothing will stick when they are wrong. That is where liberals has gotten this country in such a debt and a mess.Sen. Dianne Feinstein using her office to award contracts to her husband should cause her to be removed from office. I am tired of Washington feeding their banking accounts with tax payers money . Sen. Dianne Feinstein I wonder how many taxes you owe the IRS or your husbands businesses does he have to file or pay taxes or is that some of your fixes.

I hope Dianne could sponsor the H.J. Res. 89. According to NARTH (http://www.narth.com/menus/positionstatements.html), they do NOT support same-sex marriage!

Here is the quote:

“Social science evidence supports the traditional model of man-woman marriage as the ideal family form for fostering a child’s healthy development.”

I cannot believe you had the audasity to stand at a podium with Gov. Arnold and say that you were dumbfounded, and surprised that the voters of this state did not pass the propositions on the ballot (1-A to 1 E).
People have been telling you or giving signals through the voting process that we are fed up with new, or raised taxes, fees to bail out the state deficiet when it seems that all the other passed bills that claimed the same thing has failed, “DONT YOU GET IT WOMAN” WE ARE TIRED OF BAILING THE STATE OUT CAUSED BY OVERSPENDING BY YOU AND OTHERS IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS. “GET OUT” RETIRE WITH YOUR MILLIONS PROVIDED TO YOU BY THE TAX PAYERS OF THIS STATE…. I ACTUALLY DEMAND IT…

You know what would be nice? LOWER GAS PRICES!! How about you do something about it like drill for oil, build a refinery or two. Oh, I understand. Your political career comes before the interests of those who elected you. Guess I’ll see what I can do about that come election day.

kenbiggs 02/28/2008 6:51pm

Republican pretending to be a democrat. We need to find a better person for this important job.

TEA 07/22/2009 10:33am

The question I have is this. Why do these gun control freaks get armed security? I know there not more important then one’s family. So if we are going to pass gun control laws I say let it start with there security and see how they truly feel

bkrueg 11/08/2009 9:23am

You will not get my support or vote in 2012. I do not support the government takeover of our health care. I do not support Cap and Trade. Your contribution to the deficit is not appreciated.

It is pitiful that anyone actually believes that Franken-feinstein cares one iota about what the ‘people’ want. Stop wasting time pleading with this monster, and TAKE BACK THE GOVERNMENT!!! OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE!!!!

THROW THIS B***H OUT OF OFFICE AND SEND THEM ALL TO H**L (aka, Cuba or Venezuela)!!!

intruder09 07/26/2009 7:21am

I am sick of her old fashioned, stone age, draconian thinking. It just shows how old she is! Do not re-elect her! She has been in office too long and all she does is vote on the most restrictive issues such as the 2cnd Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms.We have had enough of her and those who think like her.Enjoy your last term.! Angry in NJ

Anonymous 10/07/2008 11:53am

Shame on you, MS. Feinstein for voting for H.R. 1424. You have just thumbed your nose at the American people. I encourage all California voters to vote this Senator out as soon as possible. She may not be worried about jobs or our savings in 401k plans but we certainly do. And then to fill this bill with so much pork, give the CEO’s a golden umbrella….How dare you.

Wow, crvierra, it’s amazing to see exactly how delusional you conservatives are… and tragic how easily brainwashed you all are by the corporate elites that program your conservative media. Your short-term memory loss about who created this wrecked economy is almost as sad as your ignorant loyalty to the very corrupt jackals that want to steer us back into the ditch. You would think at some point, you guys would see that when Big Oil, Med Insurance gamers, Monopolist billionaires and war profiteers are your party’s financiers, maybe that agenda isn’t what’s best for our country…. but since you can’t ween yourselves from the propaganda teat of Fox “news”, you’ll never hear anything except what the corrupt want you to believe. SAD.

As a constiuent, I urge you to oppose any health care bill unless abortion is explicitly excluded from the scope of any federally mandated, federally subsidized, or federally defined health insurance plans. Please tell me how you intend to vote on this crucial issue.

While I do support healthcare reform for pre-existing conditions, insurance coverage for the unemployed/underinsured, closing gaps in persription coverage “donut hole” I DO NOT consider elective abortions reproductive heathcare!

What’s the deal with all of these SEPARATE bills for extending benefits? Our responses are DILUTED on the different bills. When they look for the number of comments, it looks like not many but when they add together the comments for all the UE extension bills introduced, they’d have to RESPOND to us!!!!
2544 is the one that:
- was introduced FIRST
- gives us a $50 increase
- should be pushed for by ALL of us
Make them honor KENNEDY and show empathy for US by passing that bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the principle, but the number of lives that can be saved is a lot higher than many people know when it comes to Long QT Symdrome, also known as Romano-Ward Disease, my wife has it.

The reason it is missed so often is because so little is known about it and it is usually only diagnosed two ways.

1. You have an episode while hooked up to an EKG
2. After a episode kills you.

The reason it kills is because the heart is missing its “Reset” button (sorry this is the best analogy I can give for it). So if the right trigger hits, the person will have what looks to be a seizure has a heart attack and dies, the medical term for this is Sudden Death Syndrome. A Mayo Clinic article on Long QT Syndrom refered to it as a ticking time bomb with an unknown trigger.

S373 which is seeking to ban pythons as pets is RIDICULOUS!! First of all, the problem (if you can even call a few isolated incidents and some fake-fear-mongering attempts a problem) is solely in Florida, so why is this being considered as a federal issue? Why should we punish all pet owners for the stupidity and irresponsibility of a few morons?? What’s next, ban dogs because a few dogs have bitten someone?? Come on!! Wake up!! Just Say NO!!
