While I believe Feinstein has a heart, (Pelosi doens’t nor a brain!) I tend to disagree with her on most issues. Feinstein has been a career politician too long and I believe it is time to vote her and Boxer out and get some fresh ideas in a failing congress.

S.3325 The Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights Act of 2008

Drop your sponsorship of this bill. It is going to fail miserably. It is useless … IP is dead as it stands. Fix it at the source, don’t waste my (and the USA) money with a bandaid. Music industry needs to change their buisness model. So do the Gaming / Software / Motion Picture associations. Please stop wasting all this money and drop your sponsorship. Kill this bill before it hits…..
If not, NO ONE WILL VOTE FOR YOU.

What’s the deal with all of these SEPARATE bills for extending benefits? Our responses are DILUTED on the different bills. When they look for the number of comments, it looks like not many but when they add together the comments for all the UE extension bills introduced, they’d have to RESPOND to us!!!!
    2544 is the one that:
    - was introduced FIRST
    - gives us a $50 increase
    - should be pushed for by ALL of us
Make them honor KENNEDY and show empathy for US by passing that bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame on you, MS. Feinstein for voting for H.R. 1424. You have just thumbed your nose at the American people. I encourage all California voters to vote this Senator out as soon as possible. She may not be worried about jobs or our savings in 401k plans but we certainly do. And then to fill this bill with so much pork, give the CEO’s a golden umbrella….How dare you.

Sen Fienstien needs to RESIGN over conflicts of interest. How in the hell can her husbands firm recieve money on any federal contracts. That is the definition of conflict of interest.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Dianne Feinstein offered to help secure federal funds for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. just days before the agency awarded a contract to her husband’s company in the housing foreclosure crisis.

On Oct. 30, Feinstein expressed backing for FDIC Chairwoman Sheila Bair’s proposal to stem home foreclosures through the use of federal bailout funds for the agency.

Days later, the career staff at the FDIC awarded an unrelated, competitively bid, contract to CB Richard Ellis Group, a commercial real estate services company where Feinstein’s husband, Richard Blum, is board chairman.

Blum’s firm is selling foreclosed properties that are held by the FDIC.

You expect your representatives to be moral?

  • b58 04/25/2009 10:56am

Feinstein is a democrat with teflon coating nothing will stick when they are wrong. That is where liberals has gotten this country in such a debt and a mess.Sen. Dianne Feinstein using her office to award contracts to her husband should cause her to be removed from office. I am tired of Washington feeding their banking accounts with tax payers money . Sen. Dianne Feinstein I wonder how many taxes you owe the IRS or your husbands businesses does he have to file or pay taxes or is that some of your fixes.

I cannot believe you had the audasity to stand at a podium with Gov. Arnold and say that you were dumbfounded, and surprised that the voters of this state did not pass the propositions on the ballot (1-A to 1 E).
People have been telling you or giving signals through the voting process that we are fed up with new, or raised taxes, fees to bail out the state deficiet when it seems that all the other passed bills that claimed the same thing has failed, “DONT YOU GET IT WOMAN” WE ARE TIRED OF BAILING THE STATE OUT CAUSED BY OVERSPENDING BY YOU AND OTHERS IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS. “GET OUT” RETIRE WITH YOUR MILLIONS PROVIDED TO YOU BY THE TAX PAYERS OF THIS STATE…. I ACTUALLY DEMAND IT…

The question I have is this. Why do these gun control freaks get armed security? I know there not more important then one’s family. So if we are going to pass gun control laws I say let it start with there security and see how they truly feel

  • intruder09 07/26/2009 7:21am

I am sick of her old fashioned, stone age, draconian thinking. It just shows how old she is! Do not re-elect her! She has been in office too long and all she does is vote on the most restrictive issues such as the 2cnd Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms.We have had enough of her and those who think like her.Enjoy your last term.! Angry in NJ

Done with Blue Dogs. Voted for you every opportunity I had, until now. You disappoint me severely. I would rather have a republican openly destroying things and running amok than you pretending to do good and secretly running amok.

Get some spine against these insane GOPers, will you?

Seriously? You’d rather elect someone who you know will act against your interests than risk being disappointed again? Guess what – its a democracy and you don’t get everything that you want.

Senator Feistein has, in my opinion, done far more good than bad regardless of her personal issues, and she will get my vote in the general election because the alternative is simply too awful to contemplate.

Its these “cut off my nose to spite the face” comments that make me worry about the future of this country.

It is pitiful that anyone actually believes that Franken-feinstein cares one iota about what the ‘people’ want. Stop wasting time pleading with this monster, and TAKE BACK THE GOVERNMENT!!! OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE!!!!

THROW THIS B***H OUT OF OFFICE AND SEND THEM ALL TO H**L (aka, Cuba or Venezuela)!!!

Our President was magnificent tonight. We are better than our self-interest. We are more than “what’s in it for me?” I’ll be on Medicare in two years, and I’m not afraid of Betsy McCaughey or her stupid “death panels.” Do the right thing, Senator. Back the President. And I will back you until my dying day.

Must be voted OUT! This woman is a radical democrat. She is a disgrace to the farmers that are starving in her state, because she is protecting minnows! They have to stand in line for hours to get free food! The land is drying up, and pretty soon food prices will skyrocket! California grows alot of fun for our northeners. We don’t want food imported! She never votes for the right thing for the people. She needs to read the constitution!!!
Congress works for US! We do not work for them! We are tired of the corruption in government! They are ruining, and bankrupting our country!

RATIONING: Elderly question flu shot controls

65 and older face H1N1 vaccine limits

Two months after H1N1 flu vaccine was first distributed to public health districts around the country, people 65 and older with serious medical conditions still can’t get vaccinated.
Public health authorities admit they have been inundated with calls from the elderly who want to know when they can receive vaccinations.
Many seniors have called the Review-Journal to complain. Some refrain from giving their names because they fear their complaints could cause their Social Security benefits to be cut off.

S373 which is seeking to ban pythons as pets is RIDICULOUS!! First of all, the problem (if you can even call a few isolated incidents and some fake-fear-mongering attempts a problem) is solely in Florida, so why is this being considered as a federal issue? Why should we punish all pet owners for the stupidity and irresponsibility of a few morons?? What’s next, ban dogs because a few dogs have bitten someone?? Come on!! Wake up!! Just Say NO!!

it’s time to get all new representatives for Indiana, they are all dirty, all on the take and drunk on the rich man’s money. a drunk sailor is more conservative then these guys.

it is my opinion that we need to put a stop to career politicians they go into office with good intentions and leave corrupt, bank accounts full and us (the common man) a lot poorer then the year before.

Ladies and Gentleman i know what you are thinking; “no my guy is honest, good and pure as the Antarctic wind drive show” NOT SO! our representatives are like children with their dad’s cell phone and when dad get the bill he is angry because there isn’t the money in the budget to pay the bills. so the family eats macaroni and cheese for the next three months.

Listen to reason my friends, if we keep doing what we have been doing we are going to keep getting we have been getting. TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE.
