Wouldn't you think that Barack could get back to work in the Senate and do SOMETHING concrete for this country?????
He's being paid for this job and doing nothing.
Why can't he pass Kennedy's bill (which he cosponsored)?
If he can't get things done in the Senate, don't EVEN make promises for when it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!
Give up a photo op, Barack, and get some work done in the Senate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Senator Grassley, we all know there are special projects that each and every Senator would like to have in their respective States. But, this Iraq/Afghanistan war funding supplement, the New GI Bill, the Disaster (flooding) Relief funds, along with the Unemployment Extension are vital to people's lives. This Legislation needs to pass the Senate as is, it has to have the same Language as what was drafted by the White House and Congress. We all know you have allot of pull in the Senate and you are very Respected there as well. So please think about all these people that need this help now, not a month or 2 or 3 months from now. We the People need you now Senator. thank You for your Time and Consideration.
    Respectfully and Sincerely,
    Timothy

I am opposed to a bill you are sponsoring S 3038 Adoption incentive. I have studied the Child Protective Services issue non-stop for one year. The states are corrupt and getting worse. I see two reasons for this problem, the adoption incentive and parens patriae. These two issues are what is common to all states. If this bill gets reinstated, families will continue to suffer as adoption becomes the headliner, false accusations get presented in court with no recourse, and innocent families get torn apart. Senator, is there no other thing more precious to any of us than our children and grandchildren? How long will upper legislative bodies close their ears and minds to crys of The People? This is a travesty that breeds grief and loss that far surpasses the Vietnam war, Iraq and the upcoming one with Russia that Bush is threatening to lead us into. Look closer at the issues and not just the voice of the Children's Administration. Get on the front line and watch the bullets. Don't just sit on the hill and think you "know." Senator Grasssley,
In reference to Senate Bill 2433, Where do you stand on this bill? why do we not keep our money here and take care of our own Americans who are in Poverty. Why is it the United States responsiblity to take care of everybody, but our own people. We have elderly here in this GREAT country who are starving or cannot afford medical care, what future pans do you have to take care of that? A Concerned Working American.

Grassley should put his foot in his mouth and listen to his constituents. He has said the most outlandish things in the recent months.

Senator Grassley, Keep up the good work and remain the voice of opposition. The Dems are hurting the country and the most recent poll out last week that I saw says that the American people trust the Republicans more then the Dems with the economy. Please maintain opposition to the Hate Crimes Bill S909. This bill will have many unintended and twisted uses.

    Senator Grassley,

H.R. 3471 is a step in the right direction, but it needs to be amended to also repeal the "negotiated rulemaking" about state ID cards authorized by the "Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act." I would appreciate it if you would tell Representative Steve Cohen that you would be willing to co-sponsor his bill if he would make that amendment."

    Thank you,

    Mark.

It is a tragedy that in the USA we have to worry about communism. That is just what HR 45 is and it is obvious that no one has taken the time to research this. IT DOES NOT WORK. You will place the law abiding people at risk. You can always find a illegal gun and that is just what we will have to do if you all force us into communism. You will force law abiding people to become criminals.

I can not believe the things that the goverment is allowing the President of the United States of America to get away with. If we are to stop the financial downfall of this great country then we need to stop pouring money into the hands of crooks including the Presidents and his pet companies Acorn, Unions, and put astop to adding all the Czars who don'thave to answer to anyone! The money needs to get back into the hands of the American people, not Imigrants who send the money over the border, OOPS that's what our goverment is doing also. I believe we need a complete overhaul of our goverment, the goverment is upset about the CEO's of the big companies getting high pay and large bonuses when there companies where not performing. Well what is the goverment doing, the exact samething, they are not performing but they always see fit in giving themselves a raise.
Lets start balancing the budget from the top down.
    Thank you
    Danny

As for Healthcare. If we know there is fraud and coruption in the system then lets clean it up before asking the American people to give there money to the crooks. We could also work on just getting healthcare for just thepeople who are not covered and want coverage, oh right we do have that, Nobody can be denied healthcare if they need it.
Then lets make all goverment employees from the President all the way to local workers have the same insurance after all in this country all people are created equal. When a goverment employee, President, Congress any goverment Employee leaves the job just like anyone else the insurance and Benifits stop. We should not be paying for a lifetime of benifits when the job is complete. It would would help balance the budget. Oh I forgot that's not what you are there for. You are there to spend us into poverty and give this great nation to China. Or turn us into a communist country and we have the right leader for that.

    Thank You
    Danny

    Senator Grassley,
If you would like to keep serving the great people of Iowa and the United States, then we need to start seeing yourself and the rest of the goverment start working for us, not thinking we work for the Goverment. We have a voice and we want to be heard and listened to. There is an election coming up and things will change. I am listed as a republican but things are changing and I see myself as a constitutionalist and I will vote for whoever is for the constitution and the rights our fore fathers gave us not for someone who is for themselves or for big goverment.

    Thank You
    Danny

    Senator Grassley,
How can you claim to have the interests of Iowans and Americans at heart in the health care reform debate when you take money from the health insurance industry? You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. You're collecting paychecks from the health insurance industry with your left hand and from the American taxpayers with your right hand. Which side will you vote with? The side that pays you more, apparently.

Stand up for the American people, Senator. It's what we hired you to do. Support a single payer system that extends Medicare to all Americans. Support a bill that will require that same coverage for you, your fellow congressmen, and your families. That will ensure the coverage remains high in quality.

Stop talking out of both sides of your mouth and collecting paychecks with both hands from both sides of the health care debate, Senator. Shame on you.
