I think you did well on the debate, and I would truly feel much safer knowing you were our President. I hope you can help more realize how Obama is good at “changing” his views to suit his potential voters.

    Senator McCain,

You lost my vote for voting for the “bailout bill”.

It is loaded with pork, which you said you wanted to control spending and help the taxpayers.

    Sincerely,

    L. Kotur

    OHIO!

McCain did get to work in the Senate and he still gets knocked by a very biased ultra left wing media who are in the tank for Barack OBAMA aka Barry Soetoro as he was adopted by his stepfather and he was listed as his religion being ISLAM in Indonesia! McCain is a true american HERO who has literally fought and suffered for his country and I want our freedoms to stay intact and Obama is a Socialist leaning person and he does not intend for this country to keep it’s freedoms!

  • Card10 10/04/2008 1:53pm

To L. Kotur in Ohio..How did obama vote on the bill? He voted the same as McCain and in his short 140? days in the Senate he got 1million dollars per day in pork ..John McCain did nort ever take an earmark…I am for McCain and keeping this country safe and free!

  • Anonymous 10/07/2008 11:57am

Senator McCain please tell the American people WHO BARACK OBAMA really is and his associates. This is fact not rumors. We do not need this radical man to be the President of the U.S.

  • Anonymous 10/08/2008 7:52pm

about the bailout bill didn’t obama also vote for it so if thats true who would you vote for when you dont want someone who voted for the bailout bill

BILL H.R.45 THE CHANGE. WE DON’T NEED
H.R. 45 the new gun control bill written by Senator Bobby Rush from Illinois, they have basically the same system now in Illinois but yet they have some of highest crime rate in the city of Chicago they just don’t get it. IT DOSE NOT WORK. The bill outlaws concealed carry, laws already on the books, protection of your home by having a loaded weapon in your home to protect your family. It has redundant provisions and laws that are already on the books that do not get enforced Our country needs to stop protecting the criminals and those who don’t feel they have to follow the laws of the state or federal government. The people of our nation do not want more gun laws; they want the criminals to know they will be held accountable for the crimes they commit. Is this the change our new President speaks of?

Senator McCain is senile, at least I hope that this is the reason why his behavior remains erratic. He should be ashamed of his recent behavior and voting record.
As an Arizonan, I can hardly wait for 2010, the year when we can send John home to the farm and the other John, back to his home.

    WHAT LOSERS!

  • Flashbangman 02/18/2009 3:24pm

Dear Senator. I realize it must have been a let down not to be voted into the White House. I would of rather you be in there than what’s his face. I post this comment on your site in hopes you or your staff member will take the time to read and act upon this. I wish to bring to your attention the proposed bill H.R.45. This bill proposes to literally take away the rights and freedoms of us Americans who have fought, bled and died for this Country. This I know you know, your service to this Country has been honorable and unquestionable, and totally American. I ask you to join with other Senators of like mind and vote this H.R. 45 down, it simple is not good for our Country and is not the answer.
    With Best Regards
    Scott Williams

STOP STOP STOP H.R.45 IT IS OUR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. I’M NOT GOING TO BE ON A LIST OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE A FIREARM SO SOME COMMI IN OUR GOVERMENT CAN USE THAT INFORMATION AGAINST ME. THIS IS TOO MUCH BIG BROTHER.. WE HAVE PUT UP WITH ALOT BUT THIS IS ALL WRONG. IT’S A WAY FOR THE WRONG PEOPLE TO CREATE PROBLEMS FOR US RED BLOODED AMERICANS. LETS NOT HAVE OUR GOOD MEN BE IN HARM BY TRYING TO CONTROL US. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP WE MAY DO HARM TO GOOD MEN TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS.

Firearm registration – good. Ban on Assult weapons – good. Repeal of concealed carry laws – good. Fewer Republicnas to block the will of the majority – very good.

Good? Good for what Not crime control. Crime rates were unaffected by the “Assault Weapon ban” and the Brady bill, but consistently go down in any state that implements “shall issue” concealed carry permits. Disarmament is a tyrants tool, and you are not a majority.

Yea, the 500 dollars really help small companies to develop growth. (Or at least buy themselves a desk to work from)
    Change? no

  • thorvaldr 04/24/2009 9:14am

Thanks for making a lair Mr. McCain. I spent half of last year telling everyone that you were our only hope for keeping certain gun grabbing communists out of office and now your supporting a bill to greately expand the authority of the BATFE. Those jack booted thugs already have too much power. I noticed that you didn’t feel the need to co-sponsor the concealed carry reciprocity bill or the 2nd amendment protection in national parks bill. You might be interested to know that a new “gun show loop hole” bill has started up. You’ll probably want to jump on that bandwagon. You liked it so much last time. You are a joke.

Please do not vote for the cap and trade mess.

Do not do what Flakes did and abstain either.

And for our sake, please do the right thing and vote against this cap and trade mess even if you may get bullied by the democrats.

Philly You must have a short memory. Congress has been democratic mostly for the last 60 yrs. During that time, they have greatly legislated the powers of the president to be less. Its congress who supports the war as the president can only force troop engagement for a few months. After that, they all have to come home unless congress supports the idea.

There is a federal law that states that the police have no responsibility to protect individuals, only to promote general peace in the community. Sending jobs overseas was an act promoted and supported by the congress. Presidents must sign bills enacted by congress unless and until he has political support to defeat them. Its not a nation run by a dictator, though thats what this administration is tending toward. Note the CZARs in washington bypassing the legalities of the legislature.

Look at the additional taxes you will have to pay, and your children, all their lives to pay back what Obama has obligated us to, more than all the presidents before him. Hes now out to force the medical changes on all of us, but it will benefit only a few, those who mostly dont work for wages to pay for medical care. Now why should you get rent groceries, tv, phone, or medical care free? All these things are legally chargeable now to government taxes. Open up your mind and do a little research and dont blindly react to a news story.

  • spares99 07/07/2009 12:27pm

    Senator McCain,

Can you help us stop SRP from building a sub station next to our children’s school in Gilbert Arizona?

No one seems to be able to go up against SRP. They push everyone around including the State.

Impeach Obama! I’m sooo tired of the people of this country that stand with their hand out looking for the rest of us hard-working individuals to pay their way. Impeach Obama! Impeach Obama! Get real, get a life, and get a job!
