Your mind is lost, Harry. You are pointless, and should be retired at the first available opportunity. 2017 can not come soon enough. Go Home.

Looks, like you are gonna have to move to another state if you don’t want to have Reid as your senator as he just beat that psycho tea party woman.

MercilessPit 10/31/2010 7:32am

Finally Harry, you are about to be gone. It’s been a long time coming, too long actually. You convinced America that you hate the military, slander them at will and couldn’t possibly care less for anything accept voting yourself up a new raise. You’re a liar a thief and a crook and you should be imprisoned.

Seriously!! It, was the republicans who clocked the extensions to begin with and the democrats continued to modify and modify until they finally did pass a temporary filing extension that has helped hundreds! Please, if we had a republican in office right now she would have told us to “stop being spoiled,” and go get a job! Then, your or my kids would not be in rags they would be naked as rags would be a luxury! Maybe, we need to focus on voting for Reid to avoid placing someone like Angle in office. She fights for wasteful Scientology research project proposals that will give massages to inmates not for unemployment benefits and she feels that would further “enable” us to become government/state leeches.

elfpaladin 09/15/2010 10:17am

To all Nevadan Voters who are not voting for Harry Reid:

Sharron Angle should scare any Nevadan, considering she would like to reopen Yucca as a nuclear waste refinement facility, which Harry Reid and John Ensign both worked very hard for our state to stop the nation from using it as the national trash heap. With Sharron Angle you can expect that all of the progress that has been made here will be down the tubes in a matter of months. If you wish to vote Harry Reid out of office I offer this other independent highly conservative option: Jesse Holland. His website can be found here: http://www.hollandforsenate.com/. While I personally disagree with his views, I would rather see him in office than Sharron Angle, at least he’ll work for our betterment.

Abaratarrr 09/13/2010 6:49pm

3706 the unemployment extension (Americans want to work act)is also not going to be voted on this year.

Harry Reid the the Democrat Majority leader is blocking the unemployment extension, Harry Reid is not allowing the senate to vote on the unemployment extension. If you are hungry and your kids are wearing rags it is because Harry Reid refuses to allow for a vote on 3706.

Please call and write Reid every chance you get.

He could pass this bill he just doesn’t want to, why does he want us to suffer?

Homebuilt7 09/10/2010 4:18am

The NRA does NOT endorse Harry Reid’s re-election in 2010.

for all of you who live in Nevada, we need to end the capitalistic reign. take a look at this. http://www.nevadaappeal.com/article/20080205/NEWS01/778247256
It may be socialist, but right now it’s not a bad thing, take a business class; in order to stable out of a recession spending money is what restarts the circulation of cash flow. If you also wiki the great depression socialist Marx theorized depressions are due to unbalanced control of capital. therefor when one extreme has all the money, the poor have nothing to spend with and the rich dont need anything to buy. the only reason why the world recovered so quickley is because the world governments spending all there money on weapons and armor during WWII. so really if you look at Herbert Hoover and his capitalistic republican ways and google Hoovervilles, then look at what happens when socialist communism sets in america as the “Worker” population creates the products needed to save the world from totalitarian fascism aka Nazi’s.

This is a disgrace that the president and senate are on vacation!
the economy is falling apart due to the socialist bills they have passed!
after spending ALL that money, the jobs have never been created.
They want to end the Bush tax cuts, so small businesses will be taxed!
That is going to create even more unemployment!
I have been going crazy to find a job, I am even enrolled in 5 Temporary Agencies, but of course, they are hit just as bad as I am.
The health care bill will tax them, the bush tax cuts will end, the financial bill will hurt them, so where are we going to get jobs from?
The President has said he don’t care if he is a one term president, as long as he gets his agenda! Please fire these senators in November!

Seraph702 08/25/2010 3:06pm

Harry I will vote for you seeing how Angle is lacking. Unfotunately there are no decent communist out there to start dragging the balance of the income disparity towards a workable median. Capitalist need to go, at least for a while let Socialism even this economy out. You need to talk to Rep. Titus about H.R. 5933, we Veterans would like a better GI Bill. You also need to talk to someone about state taxes, this 8% for casino’s stuff is rediculous some North Eastern state with about an 1/8 the amount of casino’s amasses over a billion dollars in taxes, their tax rate was 55%, while we here in NV made a couple hundred million, I think NV should do the same, think of how much we could make, and how much the school system might advance.

I wish this was not so hidden on the internet and the news.People need to know about this bill S.3520 – Unemployment Insurance Extension Act of 2010.

I think it would be fabulous if this bill S.3520 – Unemployment Insurance Extension Act of 2010 went to the floor for a vote before the senate breaks for the 4th of July weekend. Since they will be off celebrating the independence of our great nation,it would be a shame if it did not go to a vote and get passed since it will leave millions in limbo over a long holiday weekend. While all the legislators celebrate the U.S.‘s indepedence , us fellow unemployeed workers by no fault of our own will be questioning our lawmakers integrity and wondering if they should really be celebrating our indenpendence since they are the very ones taking it away from us. It’s a little ironic on the timing of this bill , one would think it would get some news publicity.huh?

pelmof 06/29/2010 3:35am

Dear Senator Reid,
S.3520 needs to be passed immediately. There are 15 million Americans who are “unemployed through no fault of their own,” and who are also frantically attempting to find new jobs that do not exist. The majority of these 15 million have a family dependent upon their income, so that increases the number to possibly 30 or even 45 million Americans who are in imminent danger of losing everything. When this happens, the financial and moral ramifications for this country will be dire indeed. I’ll say it again— S.3520 needs to be passed immediately! Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

UnemployedandEDUCATED 06/25/2010 10:58am

Mr. Reid,

It is a sad day in American history. You have forgot to push your pride to the side and FIGHT for the AMERICAN people who are unemployed and FIGHTING to get a job while they try to pay their bills on 405 dollars or less per week. Now they won’t have ANY income to pay bills. Which means there will be an increase in homelessness, crime, prison inmates, welfare case, and Public Assistance. Instead of leaving us with what pride we have left you strip us down and leave us broken.

alpryor00 06/21/2010 5:53am

I think today would be a great day to pass the unemployment bill. There are MILLIONS of us out there that are depending on this money and while every week roles around and you get paid we have nothing. No food to put on the table for our kids no way to take vacations nothing all the while you are enjoying your wealthy life. You are pathetic time to start thinking about everyone else right now not just your selves….It has been 3 weeks of this shit get it passed TODAY!!!!

Senator, I am a supporter of your being re-elected. I think you are good for Nevada and for Congress. However, if you support Schumer and McCaskill in that absurd amendment that is allegedly designed to regulate the debt settlement industry but is a sham really intended to put the debt settlement companies out of business, you will lose my support and that of thousands who will be hurt by such shoot from the hip knee jerk reactionary legislation that is not even allowed to be made public.
