Please do not support S2636. It is an irresponsible answer to an urgent problem. We need stablility, and we need to stem the foreclosure wave in this country, but S 2636 will destroy the markets and plunge us deeper into housing crisis. HUD is considering having lenders & banks order appraisals. If this happens, the overvaluation problem may self correct. Perhaps what we need are interim steps to allow lenders & banks to accept partial payments with out changing the loan terms. That could help prevent the multiple penalties on the mortgages.-Please vote no on 2636!

THESE are heartbreaking stories and mine is another one - I have worked so hard for so long and there are no jobs out there for us over 50!!!!!!

Please vote in favor of H.R. 6049. If gas prices don't do it, maybe this bill will encourage people to do less driving and more cycling to and from work.

What's the deal with all of these SEPARATE bills for extending benefits? Our responses are DILUTED on the different bills. When they look for the number of comments, it looks like not many but when they add together the comments for all the UE extension bills introduced, they'd have to RESPOND to us!!!!
2544 is the one that:
- was introduced FIRST(by Kennedy)
- gives us a $50 increase
- should be pushed for by ALL of us
