As a constituent representative, you are the worst in responding to said constituents. I would prefer that you start responding to the American People who placed you in office to begin with instead of acting like an elitist. I will be voting you out of office! I have written you several times in past, but yet I NEVER get a response back. You don’t listen to what the American People WANT, you decide what you think we want treating us as we are dirt under your feet to be swept aside. I have been a Republican all my life, but I have NEVER seen such corrupt activity going on as I have since this past November elections. Start doing your job and listen to your constituents!

One of the Worst Members on the Republican Side, not to mention an Apologist for BP.

You are a disgrace to your country and should be embarrassed to have the UNITED STATES in front of your title.4th of July is upon us-it reminds us of history and how the people can come together to make a difference.I hope you and your family meet the same outcome as the 15,000,000+ unemployed. You turned your back on the Citizens by playing games and stupid antics.Assistance needs to be offered to ease the minds of the families and allow continued dignity no matter the cost. You spend OUR money like water and the American people MUST and SHOULD be priority one!
“As good government is an empire of laws, how shall your laws be made? In a large society, inhabiting an extensive country,it is impossible that the whole should assemble to make laws. The first necessary step, then,is to depute power from the many to a few of the most wise and good.”
John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776
Obviously we dont have the few wise and good in the senate-but we have the power to change that…

Joe I can’t believe you voted for hr 3590. You have made me lose all faith. You sounded so sincere at the town hall meeting.

Upon hearing that you, Representative Barton, introduced a bill pertaining to the Bowl Championship Series I swore that you HAD to be a Democrat. I thought Republicans believed in limited government? Instead of focusing on the bigger issues of the day, you have the audacity to apply Article 1 Section 8 (Interstate Commerce) to justify meddling in the affairs of the NCAA and their respective universities. I only hope that your constituents are paying attention to your actions. Your willingness to abuse the articles contained in Constitution by presenting extraneous legislation in the House show a completed disregard to what a limited government is.

Thank you, Sir, for your continued efforts in representing your constituents in a fiscally responsible manner. Your votes against the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2009, the CJSRA Appropriations Act of 2010, the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act of 2010, and most recently H.R. 2997 are proof that you care about changing this country’s path toward absolute insolvency.

Also, please vote against any version of H.R. 3200, which includes an individual mandate. It’s literally insane that any lawmaker would even consider excise taxes and jail penalties for those that choose no coverage.

America anxiously awaits November of 2010 and the day that this country votes out a good portion of the Marxist/Fascist element that currently grips this country.

Joe Barton,
Are you the rude boy that was twittering during the President’s Address last night? What a buffoon. Is it true that we, all the citizens of the United States pay your salary. Consider yourself fired for behaving like an a.h. Hey you know why cowboys wear 10 gallon hats? That’s wishful thinking, most could fit their brains in a thimble.

When we are spending 12 billion a month in Iraq to protect oil reserves, I do not see the harm in supporting the unemployment bill. Especially, when crude oil prices continue to climb. The real cost of this war is coming out of the average citizens pockets while the people fortunate enough to be in the oil industry and we all know who they are, do not ever want this middle east situation to get any better.
