Interesting… I didn’t know until recently that Calvert was arrested in 1993 for solicitation of prostitution.

This guy is a douche.

This guy is a criminal. He has so much real estate fraud deals in the Inland Empire and instances of using tax payer money for his own profit that it was announced Oct 2009 that he is being investigated by the FBI. This guy should step down. An embarrassment to the country, state, and Inland region. In these hard economic times, we need someone who is fighting for “the people’s best interest” and not for their own political and financial gain.

You and the rest of the Republicans are so transparent! President Obama, as well as us Americans, know what you are doing. Stalling and not voting on what the people want and need in this country. Do the job you were elected to do, and start voting! Your tactics in stalling is only going to back fire on you all. Show our President some respect. Rep. Calvert, you voted yesterday on House Roll Call #893 to close portions of the conference on HR1540 to the public. This is the bill which could allow indefinite military detention of American citizens on US soil. Why don’t you want your constituents to know what you’re doing? The American public has every right to know what discussions and reasoning could lead to approval by our elected representatives of the indefinite detention of American citizens without charge or trial. Your job is to represent your constituency, NOT to push us out. What are you trying to hide from us?
