WHY ARE WE STILL WAITING?
As Soldiers, We ask for legislation, to be introduced in the US Congress, to rededicate the VA Medical Center Philadelphia as “Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Philadelphia”.

Corporal Michael J. Crescenz is the only Philadelphia son to be Awarded the Medal Of Honor in the Vietnam War (Citation attached) and the last to this day. A true American Hero, a True Philadelphia Hero whom to this day has not been known or embraced by the by the City he loved so much.

Corporal Michael J. Crescenz meets the highest standards that the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs has established for such legislation by being Awarded The Medal of Honor.

Having the Veterans Affairs Medical Center named after an Army Rifleman who put himself between the enemy and his medic in order to allow wounded soldiers to be treated and saved is a somber and honorable remembrance for all Veterans that enter the center for medical care.
