I cannot believe Washington representatives are representing the citizens when they sponsor such bills as H.R.1302 Global Poverty Act of 2007

McDermott is just one of many “representative” co-sponsoring this bill.

People seem unaware, and perhaps our politicians are unaware as well, of the orchestrated plans of the United Nation since the early 1980s to redistribute the wealth of the United States to third world countries…towards a New World Order, or One World Government. This is not conspiracy or lunacy speaking. It’s been well researched and documents exist along with speech transcripts. President H. Bush spoke of the New World Order, just three weeks after the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) had a three day conference in New York City on the New World Order. Between a war in Iraq sending money we don’t have, and now this bill and companion bill in the Senate…will rape the U.S. of massive tax or debt or both…playing into the hands of those who would rather not have a representative government. Well, folks, it isn’t a representative government, the two major parties’ leaders, not the voters determine who wins nominations, and between an electoral college and even manipulated voting machines…voters do not choose our representative, senators, or presidents. Remember Gore’s popular vote?

Below is some required reading. And there are many more documents one can search for one the Internet.

One World by Tal Brooke ISBN: 1-930045-07-7, 270 pages, 211 photos. One World explains why America’s rapid descent is no accident, its virtues and values of yesteryear and the public memory of once great liberties and freedoms, erased like some vast hard drive. Now the anticipated signs of a techno-tyranny are beginning to emerge. Rhetoric about conservative values are used merely to placate the public. A New World Order could arrive virtually overnight and be unlike anything the world has ever seen, affecting every life on the planet and far from the utopian picture of universal brotherhood we are all being primed to expect.

One World uncovers the deep forces at work. The financial, political, military and spiritual arms of this powerful global agenda have an interlocking purpose that gives it almost irresistible power as history speeds toward world government.

I am glad to see the you voted Nay to S. 3325. You were one of the few people that stood up to special interests on this bill.

  • fortermlimits 08/16/2009 7:32pm

He’s been in office too long. With ‘tenure comes corruption’ someone once said. Eleven terms, he’s done enough damage don’t you think? Let’s get rid of him in 2010!!!

Rep. McDermott is a true progressive. I can always count on him to support civil rights, the environment, health care, and peace. I wish the country had more people like him in government.

With respect to H.R.3706 proposing to increase the minimum down payment requirements, eliminate 50% of seller contributions, and eliminate financing of closing costs: I believe the purpose of this bill is to reduce the risk for FHA. This bill may actually be counter productive to this cause as what separates FHA from standard Conventional loans is primarily the reduced downpayment and financing of closing costs. By eliminating these, borrower’s have little reason for using FHA and would simply do conventional loans that currently are going for a lower rate than FHA. Couple this with the fact that it will HURT our economic recovery, I strongly oppose this bill and encourage you to contact your representatives to speak your mind.

    Jim McDermott, you disgust me.

Remember when you were fined $1 million in legal fees to House Minority Leader John Boehner? I remember. You were illegally taping telephone calls of Republican leaders. Nixon was shamed as President because he illegally wiretapped politicians – but he got a pardon. McDermott, if you haven’t been pardoned you should probably be in prison.

Eerily, Jim McDermott, your corruption doesn’t end there.

Your illegal actions wiretapping other politicians came just weeks after news broke that an alleged Iraqi spy had paid for your trip to Iraq in 2002. Shortly prior to the Iraq War, McDermott, why did you travel to Baghdad in a trip financially supported by Iraqi-American Shakir al-Khafaji? You had to have known he was being investigated for receiving “lucrative vouchers for Iraqi oil from Saddam’s government.” Whose side are you on?

Washington State has been overrun by a corrupt Democrat supermajority. Scary stuff.

Ten questions and comments I have for Jim McDermott:

    (1) Why are you increasing taxes when unemployment in Washington State is skyrocketing?

    (2) Why are you increasing taxes while the U.S. economy is still struggling to come out of a horrible recession?

    (3) Why are you increasing taxes?!?!?!

    (4) CUT YOUR WASTEFUL SPENDING FIRST!

    (5) GET YOUR DIRTY HANDS OUT OF MY WALLET YOU CORRUPT POLITICIAN!

    (6) Are you watching California?

    (7) Have you seen what socialist policies and increased union pensions are doing to California?

    (8) What happened to California’s tax revenue after they increased sales taxes and then introduced an income tax scheme? This is exactly as you’re planning to do here, and it did nothing but sink California.

    (9) Why is Washington State following in lock-step unison with California’s terrible fiscal mistakes and high tax policies?

    (10) Why do you support socialism, Jim McDermott?

    McDermott, stop being a Lemming!

    Give me liberty… not debt!

Watching you ruin Washington State is like chewing on tin foil 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I’m tired of your corruption and deceit destroying a once thriving economy.

If you love socialism so much why not move to Canada or Europe? You’ll do great there, and you won’t be able to continue damaging America.

…Yes, Lemming McDermott, Washington State is a part of the United States of America….

We are a free nation. We believe in free market capitalism. We understand that Union pensions and entitlement handouts are incompatible with a thriving economy, and socialism is incompatible with what is currently the greatest health care system on earth. You cannot have both.

Socialism is incompatible with American values.

November 2010 is coming up soon!!!!!

I already know what’s going to happen, too. You’re going to call up your SEIU buddies and have them send you campaign money from Washington D.C. (the SEIU main headquarters), and you’ll use that money for robo calls attacking whoever runs against you. But your corruption has been revealed.

The SEIU is just as corrupt as you are; you are in bed with the unions.

But that’s also why you don’t mind the union pensions sinking Washington State’s economy, because you know the unions will send you cold hard cash when campaign season comes around. You are willing to cripple Washington State in order to remain in power.

I bet you are sick for power. You’re one those guys that stay up all night thinking of creative ways to soak the taxpayers and redistribute the wealth to those who finance your campaigns. You’ve been in office for so long, I bet clinical tests would reveal you are truly insane — for power. You know it too. No denying that one.

Here’s a problem that is currently going to be a long-term disaster if no fixed.

Washington State’s union corruption and bullying has become far too often. The union single-handedly lowered revenue and shareholder value of Beoing because of long-terms strikes. The unions in their corruption don’t suffer from other private employee’s 401(K) plummeting in value, because their entitlement pension plans will continue sucking the life and profit out of the company for the rest of their lives, without working a single day after retirement. Not only are the unions destroying the investment value of those who actually invest into the company and grow the economy, but the unions siphon hundreds of thousands (or more?) of dollars into growing pension plans for people not even working.

The unions single-handedly pushed away Boeing and sent the company to South Carolina. Beoing left to stimulate job growth elsewhere, because in a socialist atmosphere a company cannot survive.

  • TeaPartyCitizen 03/12/2010 7:00pm

So, I propose all Union pension plans be stopped effective immediately.

Whomever is currently on a union pension plan may remain, the damage has already been done. But it’s not too late to fix the long-term problem. Move the unions to a 401(K) system just like the rest of the employee’s who invest back into the company they work for. Not only does it benefit the company, it also benefits the economy and provides all employee’s an equal opportunity for prosperity in the free market.

America is free because we have a right to risk and prosperity. The unions are taking this right to choose from the private sector, and they are in turn crippling the economy. It’s really that simple.

Just think about how much true stimulation our economy would receive if the unions instead skipped the entitlement pensions and reinvested back into their company, and in turn the economy. It would be glorious!

Hundred bucks’ says Beoing would immediately come back — and grow.

    Now THAT’s job growth!

The health care bill you helped write and voted “Aye” for, H.R.4872 Reconciliation Act of 2010, is unconstitutional and at least 10 states have agreed to file a lawsuit challenging the legislation. The ten states are Texas, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Utah, and the home of your constituents, Washington.

Your attempt and possible success at taking Washington State’s liberty and relinquishing it to the Federal government is unprecedented, and disastrous for the United States of America. I’m shocked that you are going so far as to sacrifice our freedom to advance a socialist agenda.

We will never forget what you voted to take from each and every one of us. How dare you! Socialism has no place in America, and you should know better but I’m afraid you don’t. Never before have I been so worried about the direction you politicians are taking this country; ten years ago I’d have scoffed at the idea of socialized health care in America.
