Rip the environmentalists a new body cavity and get our own oil in our system so we can save the 6.1 TRILLION dollars the arabs are going to reap from this latest increase in a barrel of oil. What must we do to heat our homes? Paying more than 3 bucks a gallon for heating oil is ludicrous because our government can’t stand up for us. Give more money to the world, The cost of making ethanol is costing more than it’s worth in burning in a car. All that’s accomplishing is to drive up the cost of food. Nice going, a real snooker job on congress for this fiasco. Go environmentalists and Al Gore, wreck this country as fast as you can.

Pelosi: No Vote On Offshore Oil Drilling; So Why A Vote on FISA Capitulation?

Nancy Pelosi is an awful Speaker of the House, imo. You may disagree, but you can not disagree with the fact that she plays fast and loose with the idea that she can block House votes when she wants. To explain away the FISA Capitulation vote and why she let it pass in the House, Pelosi bizarrely blamed the Senate, as if the Senate controlled the House calendar.

But when it comes to offshore oil drilling, Pelosi DOES control the calendar:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday ruled out a vote on new offshore oil drilling even as Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said he might be open to a compromise that included it.

Somehow she could not rule out a vote on FISA Capitulation. I mean that only involved the Constitution after all. No big deal.

I agree whole heartedly. She is an embarrssment to the State of California,House of Representitives, the Senate and the USA. I have been voting democratic ever since I was 21 and I am 66 now. I am sad to say that this past election really disappointed me. I am seriously considering becoming an Independent. Her stance on illigal immigration is totally unamerican. She takes the side of the illigals and wants them all to get amnesty. She want them to get the jobs instead of the legal Americal citizens. Maybe she has uses them in her business. Don’t let anyone tell you they can’t get social service because in California, they come first. That is because of the all the bleeding heart illigal lovers in California, such as Pelosi. “You can’t break up a family and send the parent back to their native country.” Yes you can. Send the children back with the law breaker parents. If the parents are illigal, so are their children. Pelosy should be ashamed of herself.

Unamerican to enforce immigration laws and remove illegal aliens from our country. How dare you call me unamerican for enforcing our laws! The last time I checked the government was supposed to be representing it’s citizens. You know, the only peope who are supposed to be the only ones who can legally vote. Have you seen the approval rating of Pelosi and her congress as it is dropping like a rock, which by the way you seem to love to ignore or forget the democrat controlled congress took root in 2006. The ‘silent majority is getting louder, they are all walks of the spectrum; democrats and republicans as well as non-affiliated individuals that are sick of seeing our hard earned money squandered like teenagers with mom and dad’s stolen credit card and an administration bent on destroying the US as a free and democratic nation.

Pelosi is, hands down, the most inept rep in congress. Period! She is so partisan, her picture is next to the definition of “partisan” in the dictionary. She could actually run for and win the presidency or dictatorship of any communist country in the world. She and Joe Biden are in a contest to see who can most often put their feet in their mouths. Anyone who isn’t embarrassed by Pelosi’s role in the congress has their head in a very dark and odorous place. She’s just plain wrong-headed on most issues important to people outside of her San Francisco voting base. The mere fact that she represents that district should tell you that she’s loony. She’s the one who wants to spend 30 million dollars in the current porkulus bill to save a stupid mouse in a stupid marsh in her stupid congressional district. What a dupe!

So according to you, it’s American to dissent and have an opinion, but only if your a liberal democrat, but if you’re a republican conservative, it’s the other way around. You are here only to badger and make incendiary remarks and make no real contribution to enlighten at all. How about acting like a true American and work with others to come to a solution rather than just talking your hateful tripe. When the republicans won in 2000 and 2004 did you; as you put it “Get used to it.” I voted neither democrat nor republican party lines and we have the RIGHT to NOT GET USED TO IT!

As Speaker of the House, you and Sen. Reid have turned Congress into a laughing stock. Your recent ranting about the auto industry shows a lack of the grasp of the situation with the three major auto manufacturers. Additionally it exhibits a shortsightedness that is endemic of Congress. Only when Congress begins functioning like a responsible body of the government, i.e.: working under the same conditions other government workers do, will it draw closer to understanding the needs of the Nation. People are quickly getting tired of the actions of their elected representatives and the 2010 elections are drawing near. Term Limitations, Congressional Social Security, Retirement and Health Benefits are just some of the discussions surfacing throughout the country as they pertain to members of Congress. Let’s stop making our Congress the brunt of dirty jokes and begin the process of real “change.”

Voted for H.R. 2454 when there’s no possible way she could’ve read 1200 pages of text. She’s basically saying that we all should be taxed more and should be controlled more by government.

Ms Pelosi, if you read this post, please help restore democracy by stepping down from your position as the Speaker of the House. I have only been interested in politics for a few months now and you jump to the top of the list of people that I believe are part of the problem and not part of the solution. I don’t think I need to rehash in this post all of the nasty things you have said about American’s in general or the drama that you display in your emotional outbursts. I will say what millions of other citizens (voters) are thinking. You are not qualified for the position you hold. The House of Representatives is the peoples house, as in “We the People”. You certainly don’t speak on behalf of anyone I know or have talked to. You speak on behalf of an agenda that you are part of. The jig is up Ms. Pelosi. The people are catching on to a wide array of outright criminal behavior in our political, corporate, and financial systems. The people who are standing up are the Patriots!

Nancy, you need to resign. You can only get away with telling lies for so long. Accusing the CIA of lying to you when they did not is one of stupidest things you’ve done yet.

Nancy Pelosi is a socialist advocate for stealing from the wealthy and giving to the poor [called income redistribution, in the case of the government forcefully] – and she is also an advocate (remember she is from Mexifornia) to give amnesty to 12 million lawbreakers. Pelosi and the Democrats have been attempting to roll back tax cuts.

I’m not rich by any means, I make just above the poverty line income, but I saw increases in my income thanks to Bush (though he failed on immigration miserably). “When we lowered the taxes for families with children, she voted against it. And when we put the death tax on the road to extinction, she voted against it.”

Voted NO on $46 billion in tax cuts for small business – 2000.

Nancy Pelosi says and does real things that are detrimental to America and its people – no one need to make up stories about her because the truth is damning as it is.
