U.S. Congress - Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, Wisconsin (R)

In my opinion, Sensenbrenner is motivated by bigotry. I am embarrassed to be represented by him in Congress. His wealth and his incumbency have allowed him to snub his constituents and morality generally.

Please help defeat HR 45 IH. This is our freedom we are protecting. I do not support regulation of firearms in any form. Only legal Americans would comply and that is against all the popular good.

I have just been notified of HR 45. I can not express how much this disturbs me as an American, to think that just because I cherish my G.I. given right to keep and bear arms some politicians want to make me a criminal. This can not be made into law it is just the first step in making honest citizens criminals.You know there are people in congress and the house that have an agenda and that agenda is to take guns from honest people and this bill proves it. This is the person responsible for the unconstitutional REAL ID Act of 2005. Congress cannot tell the states how to issue drivers licenses (Amendment 10), and the government cannot seize personal papers without reasonable suspicion of criminal activity (Amendment 4). It is hurting law-abiding citizens and costing us millions. Please read and FOLLOW the Constitution in future bills.

If you want to crack down on illegal aliens, do so in a way that does not infringe on the rights of law-abiding citizens.

Rep. Smith is holding a hearing on 3/21/12 regarding REAL ID, the unconstitutional federal driver license law (Article 1 Section 8 does not give Congress authority for state-issued licenses, and the 10th Amendment reserves this function to the States, or to the people). Please sign this petition asking Congress to defund and repeal REAL ID. REAL ID has cost the taxpayer millions and has not prevented one terror plot or identified one illegal alien.
