Representative Melancon,
What a disappointment you turned out to be. Instead of having the political vision and courage to support health care reform, you chose to play politics for your own selfish political and personal interest!
Do you honestly think that you can “out conserve” the Republicans and they will accept you?
Do you honestly think you can take our democrat vote and our democrat money and NOT stand with the interest of YOUR base constituency on this critical issue and there be NO political repercussions?
I do hope you decide to run either for Senator Vitter’s seat or run for re-election, cause you are in for a rude awaking!
Thank you and for absolutely NOTHING and siding with the party of “NO.” I am sure the thousands of Louisiana citizens with little or no health care AND the state with the worst health in the country will appreciate your lack moral fortitude!
is it time to start looking for new candidates? i think so.
anyone WHO VOTED FOR THE BUSH/OBAMA/McCAIN BAILOUT (B.O.M.B.)SUCKS.

BOTH THESE CANDIDATES CAN GO F*** THEMSELVES…

DEAR CONGRESSMAN MELANCON,
~ SHOULD POORER AMERICANS HAVE FAITH THAT OUR U.S. SUPREME COURT IS WELL AWARE THAT AMERICAN PESTIGE INTERNATIONALLY IS VERY MUCH BASED ON HOW WELL WE TREAT OUR OWN CITIZENS~
I watched the debate on tv with him against Vitter.
This man is a real idiot! He did not answer the questions on what he would do for you…instead all he did was talk bad about his opponent!!!
This man is not professional and does NOT belong representing our country!
We already have too many bad polititions that are bankrupting, and try to turn our country into a socialist government! He supports CAP & TRADE, even though it would kill our economy, but most of all the state of Louisiana who has oil companies! you know, the one Obama said our utilities would skyrocket? Then every single item we buy will cost way more money!
We have a big poverty level already from Obama!
Wake up, Vote NO!
CONGRESSMAN,
NOW THAT THE PEOPLES U.S.CONGRESS HAS DOCUMENTED OUR UNJUST AMERICAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM,HAVE YOU HEARD IF THE U.S. SUPREME COURT KNOWS WHERE AND WHEN WE CAN ALL WATCH THESE POSSIBLE WRONGFUL EXECUTIONS TAKE PLACE ?
TROY DAVIS & MUMIA ABU ~JAMAL ~ ARE HAVING PRAYERS FOR JUSTICE SAID FOR THEM WORLD~WIDE ..WE CAN ALL ONLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT EVERYONE IN OUR U.S.CONGRESS THAT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS HOW UNJUST OUR U.S JUDICIAL SYSTEM CAN BE WITH OUR POORER AMERICANS,BECOMES ACTIVE IN MAKING SURE THAT TROY DAVIS OF GEORGIA AND MUMIA ABU~JAMAL OF PENNSYLVANIA RECEIVE FAIR AND JUST TRIALS BEFORE ANY POSSIBLE WRONGFUL EXECUTIONS TAKE PLACE.
LAWYERS FOR POOR AMERICANS IS A WWW VOLUNTEEER LOBBY THAT SINGS OUT FOR OUR MIDDLE~CLASS AND WORKING POOR AMERICANS. WE CAN BE FOUND WITH ANY SEARCH ENGINE BY OUR NAME OR TELEPHONE NUMBER.(424-247-2013)
has anyone ever gotten a reply from charles melancon? i haven’t, and its going to mean a no vote for him.
Do you really think he didn’t want to vote for this ridiculous bill? He was one of those soft votes that could go either way. He voted no in an attempt to keep his seat once the Mocrats knew they had enough votes to win.
This Congress is a disgrace to the people it is supposed to serve. This bill will lead to less people going to med school, early retirement by qualified doctors, failures of insurance providers, an entire government takeover, forced purchasing of insurance, and the list goes on and on.
No one with any sense would vote for this bill. This is just a huge power grab by the Mocrats that just effectively lost the control of the Congress during midterm elections. The majority of Americans oppose this bill either out of principle or expense. How are we supposed to pay for this? Who is supposed to pay for it? Strap on another cart to the working mules of this country while the entitlement crowd gets fatter and fatter.
