As one of your constituents, I am greatly concerned over the furloughs day that the Judicial branch has been issued. I can’t understand why the Judicial branch has to shoulder the budget woes of the State os Iowa. The Judicial branch is as much a “public safety” agencey as any of the others that have been listed. They also produce revenue for the State of Iowa, which will be backloged due to furloughs. I would like for you to vote NO to any other legislation that would put further stress of our Judicial branch. The public needs that branch of goverment to work properly and quickly.

Although I am not from you district, I am from Iowa and I am an American and therefore, you are representing me. I want to encourage you to vote NO on the Health Care Reform bill and any similar bills. I, also, wish to make it clear how disappointing it would be to see the House of Representatives manipulated the voting rules and pass the Senate bill without a vote as has been considered in that last couple days by Speaker Pelosi & Reid.

One who betrays another’s trust or is false to an obligation or duty ~ The time has come in American when those, in service, stop making a living off of those that work.

Time to find a real job.

I can’t believe how consistently you vote with Republicans—you voted NAY on the Progressive Caucus Budget—will you vote AYE on the economy KILLING Ryan budget?—Ryan’s budget is cruel, deceptive and slashes the safety net—and his budget math is full of holes. The Congressional Progressive Caucus, Back to Work Budget,is a detailed plan to create nearly 7 million jobs while bringing down the deficit by $4.4 trillion over a decade. And it does this the right way with higher taxes on the wealthiest (including a 49 percent rate on incomes over a billion dollars); a financial transaction tax that would discourage reckless speculation; an end to tax advantages for outsourcers & corporate jets; an environmental saving carbon tax; a public option for health insurance better than Obamacare; sensible military cuts; & investment in infrastructure, school construction, child care, & putting teachers & firefighters back to work. WHY would you vote against it???
