Why did you LIE about Democrats blocking the tax credit for solar and wind?

The record CLEARLY shows that it was Republicans that blocked the passage of the bill this week.

And in fact, when the House passed the Renewable Energy and Job Creation Act of 2008 in May, you [Bachmann] voted against it, along with the majority of House Republicans. The bill was then filibustered by Senate Republicans in June.

For the fourth time this summer Republicans stopped the Senate from taking up wide-ranging legislation that extends tax breaks for teachers, businesses and parents and provides tax credits to an array of renewable energy entrepreneurs.

How can you just lie like that?

Michele, I am very proud of you for standing up for those who would like to see less government and better use of our tax dollars and a return to protecting the constitution. How about initiating a bill which would require any Representative or Senator to take a test that proves they have read and know the constitution they are swearing to uphold!
I would like to see you support HR 25 as I believe it might be one of the most important bills this next year.
It is interesting to see the above “posters” (writers)that dis-agree with you also can’t spell. Seems like lack of education might promote the need for government assistance and there fore they support Obama and bigger government?

I’m not in your district, but I wish I had you as my representative. Oberstar is a tool of the DFL and is helping destroy our liberties. Keep up the good work and defeat Clark. With 2 Senators like Klobuchar and the detestable Franken, MN needs some good conservatives like you.

Rep. Bachmann is sponsoring two good bills, to repeal the estate and gift taxes, as well as repealing the credit card reform law that is now hurting consumers due to higher fees and lowered spending levels on their debit cards. We need more people in D.C. with proper fiscal wisdom.
