Carney’s seat is wide open and barring a miracle for him will be retaken by a Republican. The bad news is that two that I have met out of the three Republican candidates are fierce supporters of the unconstitutional, unending Iraq war. Whether we remain there 100 years or pull out now the consequences will remain the same, except perhaps keeping the American death toll down if we do it now. These religious extremist have been killing each other over petty differences in interpretation of their religion for over a thousand years and they sure aren’t going to stop for us.The only way to prevail in a religious war is to totally eradicate one side or the other and we all know America doesn’t have the reason, resolve or stomach for that.

Mr. Carney, it is very interesting to see you are still in Washington voting on bills. Since I am unable to contact you, and I received an automated email reply which directs any concerns to Senator Casey’s office, I thought you had left office. You apparently can read minds and are able to vote without even speaking with your constituents. Oh, that’s right, you were able to do this before you were voted out. You won’t be missed.
